Education Law

This guide will help you locate resources on education law and focuses on education law-specific resources. Prepared for Professor Lukasik’s Education Law Class, Spring Semester 2022.

General Information

This research guide covers the resources available to Campbell Law students and faculty who are researching education law. Specific sub-topics covered by this guide include elementary education, higher education, and charter schools. There is also a dedicated page for Special Education materials.

Education Law is a mix of federal and state primary law. This guide covers both federal and North Carolina state materials. Access to some of the electronic resources included in this guide while off campus must use the proxy server. For information on how to use the proxy server, see our online guide. Access to other resources such as Westlaw Edge and Lexis+ is available only to Campbell Law students and faculty.

If you are beginning a research project and are unsure of how to start, see our online guide on developing a research plan, or check out the book below for more information.
