State Codes of Professional Conduct

The state rules of professional conduct are usually published in a volume of that state’s statutory code, along with the state's court rules. To locate the court rules for a particular state, use the subject index to the state statutory code.

  • North Carolina

General Statutes of North Carolina Annotated has an annual “Rules” volume located at the end of the general statutes which contains the Revised Rules of Professional Conduct.

 

State Administrative Codes

State rules of professional conduct are sometimes published as part of the state’s administrative code.

  • North Carolina Administrative Code title 27 contains the text of the Revised Rules of Professional Conduct.
