Westlaw allows you to create “Westclip” alerts, which are searches that you can program to run regularly and email any new results to you. For example, if interested in the law related to same-sex couples and adoption, set a Westclip alert to search Westlaw’s law review collection every week for any new law review articles that meet the search criteria ADV: “same-sex couples” and adopt!.
Lexis+ allows you create search alerts that will automatically run regularly and email any new results to you. For example, if interested in the law related to same-sex couples and adoption, set a search alert for Lexis+’s law review collection to send any new law review articles that meet the search criteria: “same-sex couples” and adopt!
SmartCILP is "a personalized periodical awareness tool for legal researchers" available to Campbell Law faculty.
Every Monday, you will receive an email list of all the new law journal articles in your field based on subject areas of interest that you select when you sign up. You can also request the tables of contents from specific law reviews be emailed to you when a new issue is published.

Law360 is a legal news site geared toward practitioners. As part of their service, they provide newsletters on a variety of topic areas and industries. A newsletter will typically contain the headlines of any relevant articles, along with a one- or two-sentence summary and a link to the full article. If you are off-campus, you will need to enter the Law360 site through the law library webpage (which will route you through our proxy server) before clicking the link to the article in your email.
You may sign up to receive an email every time the North Carolina Supreme Court and/or the North Carolina Court of Appeals file a new opinion. Simply fill out the sign up sheet available on the North Carolina Court System webpage.
